As Allah the Almighty has chosen the Glorious Quran to be the last Divine Book for the entire humanity and has chosen the best prophet, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), to be the last prophet to all human beings, He the Almighty, in the same way, has chosen the Arabic language to be the language of the last Divine Book and the last Prophet and Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) and that is the greatest honor the Arabic language has ever had.
Allah the Almighty has honored the Arabic language with so many characteristics and traits; among these characteristics are as follows:
- It is the richest language ever exists on the face of earth to the extent that you can find, for example, around 400 names for the lion and 170 names for water.
- Even though the Arabic language is the richest language ever, it is so easy to learn it and Allah the Almighty said: “And we have indeed made the Quran easy to understand and remember” and the Quran is in Arabic.
- It is believed by so many scholars of philology and linguistics that the Arabic language was the language of the father of all human beings, Adam (peace be upon him).
Most importantly, learning Arabic enables us to understand the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) properly, makes us read the Quran correctly in prayer and all the time and allows us to say the supplications in Arabic as the Prophet (peace be upon him) did.
Finally, it is very important to present some tips which help to learn the Arabic language in a very easy way:
1- Keeping asking Allah the Almighty for help.
2- Keeping in your mind that the Arabic language is easy.
3- Learning from a teacher whether privately or with a group.
4- Making a plan.
5- Starting with the fixed structures and vocabulary.
6- Using real dialogues to acquire the most frequently used structures.
7- Practicing what you learn with your family members or friends.
8- Using stories to enrich your vocabulary with fun.
9- Taking care of the Arabic grammar which teaches you how to make use of your vocabulary.
10- Practicing, practicing and practicing.
